Shaving the Cat

It was probably a big mistake to purchase an electric razor to shave the dog.  We all saw the atrocity that took place the last time we shaved her.


Over the weekend, Tara and I decided that Steve the cat had way too much fur and that it is way too hot outside to keep being that hairy.

I'm sure before you see the pictures you can already imagine how terrible it turned out.  It's too bad that these kinds of things never turn out as great as you really want them to.

I really don't understand how Steve didn't completely kill us while we were sleeping.  It's like the time my father gave me a home haircut.  It was so awful that I'm pretty sure I cried.  I can even remember the woman who "fixed" my hair at the salon really felt sorry for me.  I was such a baby!  Of course we still think Steve is very handsome.  But of course all parents say that about their children.
