But No.
It was not to be.
I must have really screwed someone over in a past life or something because Karma is determined not to let me enjoy anything. Life likes to punch me in the stomach every chance it gets.
I realize that I sound like a complete asshole right now, but I'm pissed. There are tons of people who are worse off than I am. There's a roof over my head, food to eat, a loving fiancee and family, and great pets, but dammit, there's no reason for anyone to steal my car!
Yup. Who in their right mind wants a 13 year old Honda Civic with over 150k miles on it! I thought I was the only one that loved my car but apparently someone else loves it too, since this is the second time in the past 2 years the car has been stolen.

Back in '08 it was a stroke of luck that we found her but I don't think that I'll be so lucky this time. Tara missed work, I had to call out the first half of my day, and now it's time to stress about how we're going to afford to get me something to cart my ass to and from work while we're saving up for a wedding which is already going to be modest at best.
Blah.
It's just frustrating for this to happen just as soon as I thought things were going to be under control for at least a week. Like I said, I know there are kids out there right now that went to bed hungry; some people weren't even able to sleep in a real bed tonight; but dammit why mess with me?
If you even read this and you're feeling helpful, it's a '97 Honda Civic, light blue in color with a faded hood. The plate is NM 213-NFA. You can just leave me a comment if you've seen it or anything.
Thanks for listening to the rant, I thought it would make me feel better, but now I feel like a jerk. I'll probably end up deleting this later.
